Note - due to limitations in some vehicles, some features may not be available. Consult the supported vehicles section for more information.

Specification

Bluetooth Phone control

• Supports up to 5 paired phones
• Dial, Accept, Hangup, Answer calls
• Multi-Party call support (phone dependent)
• Phonebook browsing and dialing from phonebook
• Last dialed, received, missed calls lists
• SMS support. Browse and read your SMS messages (vehicle dependent).
• Notification of signal strength, network name, call duration to the radio display

Bluetooth Audio support

• Support for A2DP and AVRCP bluetooth profiles
• Your bluetooth audio device appears as a special track in your CD changer menu.

iPod integration

• Features the same level of iPod integration as mObridge Audio.

Auxiliary Audio input

• Features an auxiliary audio input to connect an additional audio device (mp3 player, satellite radio etc) to your vehicle.
• High quality audio, with 24-bit digitizer.

Supported Vehicles

The mObridge Bluetooth ABT2010 can be configured by you to any of the supported vehicle types after you purchase. This means that as a dealer you only need to stock a single part number and configure the mObridge unit prior to installation.

For convenience, mObridge also offers the ABT2010 in a preconfigured state for each vehicle type. The Part numbers for each supported vehicle, as well as some vehicle specific notes are below.

Audi

• Monochrome MMI is not supported.
• MMI3G is not supported.
• Bang & Olufsen Amplifier is not support.
• CD Changer Retention is supported.
• US Spec Audis require coding of the diagnostic gateway for telephone functionality.  We have a documented procedure in our knowledgebase.
• 2004-2005 US Spec Audis require telematics disablement, again refer to the above document.
• European Spec Audi MMIs require 34.60 or greater firmware.  Please refer to your Audi dealer/specialist for MMI software upgrades.
• US Spec Audi MMIs require 33.60 or greater firmware.  Please refer to your Audi dealer/specialist for MMI software upgrades.
• Navigation audio during a phone call is not supported.

BMW

• All BMW vehicles are required to be "coded" - ie have the CD changer and telephone enabled in the vehicle. This requires some knowledge and access to either the dealer diagnostic tools or an aftermarket BMW coding solution such as Autologic. mObridge can only supply limited support in the area of coding BMWs, and will not refund if the mObridge unit cannot be fitted due to an inability to code the vehicle.
  For further information on the coding of BMWs please refer to the Autologic web site.
• CD Changer Retention is not supported if the iPod functionality is required.
• MY2009 vehicles are not supported at this time.
• MY2005 6-Series and 7-Series may need a Software Update of the i-Drive to support CD Text. This is the responsibility of the installer to ensure the vehicle supports CD-Text. mObridge cannot offer support in this case.

Mercedes-Benz

• CD Changer Retention not possible.
• 2004 Model S-Class require a special configuration in the mObridge ABT2010.  Please refer to the install notes.
• Some Euro Spec Mercedes may need Telephone coded into the vehicle using StarDiagnose.

Mini

• All Minis are required to be "coded" - ie have the CD changer and telephone enabled in the vehicle. This requires some knowledge and access to either the dealer diagnostic tools or an aftermarket Mini coding solution such as Autologic. mObridge can only supply limited support in the area of coding Minis, and will not refund if the mObridge unit cannot be fitted due to an inability to code the vehicle.

• CD Changer Retention not supported if iPod function is required.
• MY2009 vehicles are not supported at this time.

Porsche

• PCM 3.0 is not supported.
• CD Changer Retention not supported if iPod function is required.
• Pre-2005 Porsche Models require Telephone coding using PIWIS.
• CD Changer must be coded off using PIWIS.
• Only PCM units with telephone buttons fitted (telephone functionality) are supported.
  (These were standard in non-U.S. markets starting MY2003, but not fitted standard in the U.S. until MY2006.  The PCM's with telephone support were sometimes specially retrofitted by dealers or importers so check the unit closely before ordering.)

Land Rover

• iPod is not supported at this time, so ABT2010 is bluetooth phone only at this point.

Kit Includes

The mObridge Bluetooth ABT2010 kit comes with the following:

1. mObridge Bluetooth ABT2010 unit,
2. Fiber Optic harness,
3. Wiring Loom,
4. MOST loop for bypassing existing CDC,
5. iPod cable (2m)
6. Auxiliary 3.5mm audio cable.
7. Beam-forming dual microphone with cable (2m).
