New Bluetooth and Audio firmware released

mObridge has issued firmware updates for the mObridge Bluetooth and Audio products.

The 1.6.0 mObridge Bluetooth firmware adds the following features:

• (All Vehicles)  Ability to update and modify settings using a Bluetooth laptop, using our update wizard.
• (Mercedes-Benz) Key In/Out support.  Your phone will automatically connect/disconnect when the key is inserted/removed.
• (Mercedes-Benz / BMW) Several SMS enhancements, new messages are now correctly indicated and can be deleted from the vehicle head-unit.
• (Mercedes-Benz) Fixed audio glitch when returning to iPod audio after a call.
• (Audi) Added support for large phonebooks (>500 entries).
• (BMW) Added support for Japanese vehicles.

The 3.1.0 mObridge Audio firmware adds the following features:

• (All Vehicles)Memory and track retention fixed from earliar versions on fast startup.
• (BMW) Random mode added.
• (All Vehicles) Aux and audio source setting is now sticky across power downs.
• (All Vehicles) iPod unlock mode is now sticky across power downs, provided the iPod remains plugged in.
• (All Vehicles) iPod pause on power down and resume on power up has been added.
• (BMW) Artist/Title workaround for MASK head-unit issue.
• (BMW) Non-idrive radio folder handling improved greatly to work around head-unit software issues.
• (All Vehicles) Configurable discs option has been added as a feature, allowing the user to switch disc settings.
• (SAAB) Read Support Added.
• (SAAB) Track select trigger added for folder browsing.
